Urdu Translation : Abu malik Radi allaho anho se rivayat hai ki Rasoollallah Sallallaho Alaihey wasallam ke paas ek shaksh aaya aur bola Ya Rasoollallah Sallallaho Alaihey wasallam main kya kahu jab apney Rab se maangu to Aap Sallallaho Alaihey wasallam ne farmaya kah Allahumma Aghfirli wa Arhamni wa Ahdeni wa Aafini wa Arziqni ( Ya Allah meri maghfirat farma aur mujh par raham farma aur mujhe Hidayat ata farma, aur mujhe Aafiyat ata farma aur mujhe Rizq ata farma) aur Aap Sallallaho Alaihey wasallam en kalmon ko farmatey waqt ek ek ungli band kartey jaatey they, sab band kar li ek angutha (thumb) rah gaya Aap Sallallaho Alaihey wasallam ne farmaya ye kalmey duniya aur aakhirat dono ke faaydey tere liye ekaththa kar dengey Sahih Muslim , 6851 English Translation : Abu Malik Radi allaho anho reported on the authority Of his father that he heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying to the person who had come to him and asked him as to how he should beg his Lord, that he should utter these words O Allah, grant me pardon, have mercy upon me, direct me to the path of righteousness, grant me protection and provide me sustenance. and he collected his fingers together except his thumb and said: It is in these words (that there is supplication) which sums up for you (the good) of this world and that of the Hereafter.
